These songs were written when I was in my early 20s, if memory serves. They were tough to record, and I settled for a simple arrangement, despite precedent. I found that I don't play guitar or sing like I did when I wrote these tunes, which presented a logistical challenge, but I did want to include these songs in the archive of releases, and to acknowledge how they served as the foundation for tunes that I would go on to write later.
